District Councillor for Wootton Wawen
Ian was first elected as councillor for his home seat of Wootten Wawen in May 2019 and re-elected in 2023. His priorities are supporting local business by helping develop support for start-up and existing businesses as well as improving transport links to create jobs, encouraging families to stay within the area. Ian also wants to encourage low carbon, appropriate developments in the area. Ian is also passionate about helping his constituents and is always available to be contacted by email or telephone.
On Thursday 14th July 2022, Ian Shenton won the Arden Division by-election with 59% to become the Warwickshire County Councillor for Arden.
