Stratford on Avon Conservative Association were given an award at the recent Party Conference in recognition of 55 years of continuous payment of their contribution to the Conservative Party.
Chairman Richard Hobbs commented: ''We make a contribution towards the Party's Central Office every year and have done for 55 years in succession. I am very proud of that we, as well as running a successful and thriving local organisation, are able to help so substantially and for so long with the national campaign.''
The award was presented by the Party Chairman Rt Hon Patrick McLoughlin MP at a dinner with the Prime Minister.
