Philip Seccombe the Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner candidate for Warwickshire, has met with Prime Minister David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May.
At a Downing Street reception last week (Tuesday 5 January) Philip Seccombe discussed his priorities for Warwickshire if elected in May.
Nationally, the Conservatives in Government have protected overall police spending for the next four years. This means Warwickshire will have the resources to keep on cutting crime and keep our communities safe.
Commenting Philip Seccombe said: “I took the opportunity to speak to David Cameron and Theresa May about the challenges we face in Warwickshire.
“I’m fighting to ensure people’s priorities for policing in their area are listened to, taken seriously, and acted upon by the police.”
Home Secretary Theresa May commented: “Police and Crime Commissioners bring real local scrutiny of how chief constables and their forces perform.
“Conservative PCCs make sure police focus on the front line so crime falls and our communities are kept safe.”
